Brief Bio: Georg Gadow, PhD currently directs the Leadership Track of the University Honors and Leadership program of University of Colorado Denver.In addition, Dr. Gadow functions as an ethics and leadership consultant.
He was born in Berlin, Germany. Aside from teaching philosophy and health care ethics at various institutions, Dr. Gadow spent several years in private practice as a Philosophical Counselor. While in Florida, he worked at the University of Florida in Gainesville as the cultural development consultant for rural communities.
As the Director of Chancellor’s Scholars and Leaders, Dr. Gadow has worked with emerging leaders to develop innovative models of education that encourage problem-based, self-guided learning, in which students become change agents both within the University and in the surrounding community. As part of his international activities, he worked periodically with organizations and universities in Bangladesh in programs designed to enhance leadership education and ethics programs.
His interest in ethics and leadership have lead him to work with community organizations, businesses, governments and schools to strengthen ethics and leadership as a way to safeguard our future along paths of sustainable innovation, mutual respect, and the right to meaningful action for all.
Georg Gadow has a son, Yuri Gadow, and is married to Carol Bloom-Gadow, who is part of the theater faculty at UC Denver and works as an actress and theater director in the community.
